Aanvikshiki ‘आन्वीक्षिकी’: The science of Thinking
Recently, I’ve finished reading a book ‘Chanakya’s 7 Secretes of Leadership’ by Radhakrishnan Pillai.
It gave me immense satisfaction while visualizing the way our ancestors dealt with the subject ‘management’.
The book establishes the importance of ‘how to think’ as a science & why it should be learnt.
This actually brings the reasoning behind ‘ध्यान’, ‘चिन्तन – मनन’ & Yoga a way to be able to do so.
It further reaffirms the importance of Quadrant II activities (from the book ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’) as a mean of getting greatness in this lifespan.
One has to acquaint with the perspective of being a good leader without blaming others. The book enlists several key principal taken directly from ‘Chanakya’s Arthshastra’.
The book is structured on the lines of establishing a successful enterprise/company.
It verifies the concepts of great Chankaya with the help of a real time case study of Shri D. Shvinanda work(Former Commissioner of Police, Mumbai & DGP, Maharastra).
The book is an absolute delight to read & touches somewhat neglected topics in management like ‘Allies’ or ‘friends’ & advisors.
I am thankful to the writer for providing such a practical approach to novice entrepreneurs like me.
